File Storage Rules
Last updated: September 2026
These rules explain what can be stored on FireHost and what is not allowed. They apply to every file on the service.
How storage works
- All files are uploaded by the site owner, SohagGaming2.0. No third-party uploads are allowed — there is no public upload, and no one else can add files to this service.
- Files are stored on our server, or on Google Drive when Drive storage is enabled.
- Each file gets a private shareable link. Anyone with the link can view the file's details and download it.
- Uploaded files are kept under random internal names and are only served through the application — never executed on the server.
- Every upload is validated (file type and size checks) and scanned for malware — with ClamAV when available on the server, and with VirusTotal when enabled by the administrator.
What is allowed
- Documents, archives, images, audio, video, apps and software — any file type the administrator chooses to share.
- Files must respect the size limit shown on the upload page.
What is prohibited
- Malware, viruses, spyware, or any software designed to harm devices or networks.
- Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
- Illegal content of any kind.
- Deceptive content, such as files disguised as something they are not.
Retention and removal
- Files stay available until the administrator deletes them.
- We may remove files that violate these rules, receive valid copyright complaints, or have been inactive for a long time.
- Removed files are deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.
Reporting a problem
If you find a file that breaks these rules, use the “Report a copyright issue” link on the file's page or contact us. See also our copyright policy.
